With a buy order, you set the maximum price you are willing to pay for the goods. You must pay this maximum price when confirming the order. If the order is matched at a better price, you will receive the difference back.

Regular buy order

A regular buy order opens in a craft gump. Instead of crafting the item, you select the one you want to buy.

Insurance buy order

An insurance buy order opens when you insure your item. The order must be completed first for the insurance to become active.

When you die with insured items, they will be dropped with your body, but you will receive new ones when resurrected. It is possible to duplicate items this way, but you still need to pay the market price, just like for a new item.

Canceling buy order

You can cancel your buy order in placed orders. You will receive gold back for all unmatched parts. If any parts are matched, you will be asked to place a sell order for them (without calibration).

Delivery

If the order is matched upon confirmation, you will receive the goods immediately. Otherwise, they will be placed in your bank box or stables after completion.

Domicile

Goods purchased by a member of a trade war guild will be assigned a domicile if they are bought in a city that corresponds to their group:

  • using any transportation spell (recall, gate, sacred journey, teleport)
